
Interstate Theft Gang Busted in Shahabad, Four Accused Arrested

In a major breakthrough, Shahabad Police have successfully dismantled an interstate burglary gang, arresting four individuals involved in high-value thefts. The accused have been identified as Ravi, Mahadev, Shivakumar, and Gopal.
According to police sources, the gang was responsible for a high-profile burglary at the residence of a man named Hanumanth in the Dhakka Tanda area of Shahabad. The burglars made away with valuables worth approximately ₹15,26,500, which included gold, silver, and cash.
Following swift and strategic action, the police recovered 135 grams of gold, 550 grams of silver, ₹4,000 in cash, and five knives believed to have been used during the crime.
A formal case has been registered at the Shahabad Police Station, and investigations are underway to determine the gang’s involvement in other similar incidents.
Senior police officials commended the investigation team for their prompt and efficient work, calling the operation a significant step toward ensuring public safety and cracking down on organized crime.
