APCR Zonal Meet Held in Kalaburagi to Strengthen Civil Rights Work Across Kalyana KarnatakaKalaburagi:The Association for Protection of Civil Rights (APCR) organized a zonal-level meeting in Kalaburagi, bringing together representatives from Kalaburagi, Bidar, Yadgir, and Raichur districts, with the aim of strengthening civil and legal rights activism across the Kalyana Karnataka region.The zonal meet was conducted as part of APCR’s statewide strategy to activate district-level committees and expand grassroots civil rights interventions. Addressing the gathering, APCR State President Sudhir Kumar Murali said that zonal meetings play a critical role in building leadership, improving organizational structure, and ensuring effective response to civil rights violations.Kalaburagi District APCR Committee FormedAs part of the programme, a joining and organizational formation drive was conducted. During the meeting, the Kalaburagi District APCR Committee was formally constituted.Dr. Savita R. Giri was appointed as the Regular District President, along with the appointment of a Vice President and four Honorary Presidents. The decision to appoint a woman as District President was highlighted as a significant step toward women’s empowerment in civil rights leadership.Senior Officials and Activists PresentThe programme was inaugurated by lighting the ceremonial lamp in the presence of Praveen H.
